### The test started from 13:55 for the band heater pre-heating.
### Frequency : 60Hz
### As you see the above table, even if the current is doubled, the temperature does not rise with enough allowable current capacitity.
We tested our LITZ CABLE ( ‘0.1mm x 15,750 strands’, XLPE(1.2t x 2 layers) )
Section area = 123.7㎟’s allowable current is 386A.
In case of ‘0.1mm x 15,750 strands’,
R(Resistance) = 1.6432 x 10 to the power of (-)four ohm/meter.
W(Watts) = I ²R = 165² x ( 1.6432 x 10 to the power of (-)four ) = 4.47 watts/meter
Current density ( A/㎟ ) = 1.33
‘0.1mm x 15,750 strands x XLPE(1.2t x 2 layers)’ = 123.7㎟
‘0.12mm x 9,500 strands x XLPE(1.2t x 2 layers)’ = 107.44㎟ >> 141Arms ( Current density ( A/㎟ ) = 1.31 )
In case of current rating 141Arms on ‘0.12mm x 9,500 strands’,
Current rating of ‘0.1mm x 15,750 strands’ would be 165Arms corresponding to ‘0.12mm x 9,500 strands’, 141Arms.
